Description:
Custom Contracting Inc. seeks a full-time roofer for home and commercial roofing jobs. We are a busy roofing and siding company looking to hire an experienced full-time roofer for jobs in Halton, and Hamilton. If you have the experience and are interested in joining a great company, this job is right for you. You would be working with our team primarily in the Halton areas of Burlington and Oakville to Hamilton and Ancaster but sometimes in other areas beyond those cities. Competitive wages and benefits and are looking for someone willing to remain on the team for a long time.
The ability to follow blueprints and building plans
Knowledge of woodworking tools and methods of roofing
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, metals and other materials using power tools
Install interior and exterior structures and fixtures
Help erect, level, and install building frameworks
Follow safety rules and regulations
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Great with customers
Educational requirements:
High school or equivalent
Experience requirements:
Residential and commercial roofing: 3 years
Knowledge of carpentry
Desired Skills:
At least 3+ years of relevant roofing work experience
Proficiency will hand tools
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and work ethic
Work well independently and as part of the team
Qualifications:
Valid G licence
Valid I.D
Social Insurance number
Available to work Monday to Friday
