Service Agreements

All work performed by Custom Contracting is subject to a separate written service agreement. The terms of any service agreement will supersede these general Terms of Service for the specific project covered by that agreement.

3. Pricing and Payment

Pricing for our services will be provided in written estimates and service agreements. Payment terms include:

• Deposits may be required to secure project scheduling
• Payment schedules will be outlined in service agreements
• Final payment is due upon project completion and customer approval
• Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law
• We accept various payment methods including cash, cheque, credit card, and financing options (OAC)

4. Warranties

Workmanship Warranty

Custom Contracting provides a lifetime written workmanship warranty on qualifying installations. Warranty terms and conditions will be specified in your service agreement.

Manufacturer Warranties

Products and materials used in our services may be covered by manufacturer warranties. We will provide warranty information for applicable products.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

• Damage caused by acts of nature, extreme weather, or acts of God
• Damage resulting from neglect, improper maintenance, or abuse
• Modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized parties
• Normal wear and tear
• Issues arising from pre-existing conditions not disclosed

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Custom Contracting Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies will be specified in your service agreement. Generally:

• You may cancel estimates or quotes at no charge before work begins
• Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has commenced
• Cancellation after work has started may result in charges for work completed and materials used
• We reserve the right to cancel projects if payment terms are not met

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Custom Contracting Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our website or services, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Custom Contracting Inc.:

• We encourage you to contact us first to resolve the matter informally
• If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and federal laws of Canada
• Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
