Custom Contracting Inc. is seeking a full-time siding installer for home and commercial siding and roofing jobs. We are a busy contracting company hiring an experienced full-time siding installer for jobs in Halton, and Hamilton. If you have the experience we’re seeking, and are interested in joining a great team of contractors, this job is for you. You will be working primarily in the Halton areas of Burlington and Oakville to Hamilton and Ancaster but sometimes in other cities and towns close by. Responsibilities:
The ability to follow blueprints and building plans
Knowledge of woodworking tools and methods of siding
Can measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, metals and other materials using power tools
Help erect, level, and install building frameworks
Follow safety rules and regulations
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Great with customers
Educational requirements:
High school or equivalent
Experience requirements:
Residential and commercial siding: 3 years
Knowledge of general carpentry
Desired Skills:
At least 3+ years of relevant siding installation work experience
Proficiency will hand tools
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and work ethic
Work well independently and as part of the team
Qualifications:
Valid G licence
Valid I.D
Social Insurance number
Available to work Monday to Friday
